SERVICE

We provide expert repair service for a variety of gauges and controllers used on vacuum processing equipment. Our fully equipped facility is staffed by experienced repair technicians. We have developed detailed test procedures for the controllers listed on the following pages. 

 
PARTS
We maintain a large inventory of replacement parts to
permit rapid turnaround.

PRICING
Controller repairs are billed on a time and material basis.
Most controller repairs will mot exceed $500.00. The minimum charge for evaluation & test is $200. Major component failures (transformers, meters, etc.) may increase cost.

TURNAROUND
Our normal turnaround time is 7-10 days. Emergency
expedited service is available.

TESTING
Instruments are fully tested and repaired to manufacturers specifications.

DOCUMENTATION                                                    A complete service report is provided detailing test results and itemizing repairs performed. All defective parts removed during repairs are returned with the repaired controller.

SHIPPING                                                               No RMA required to return controllers for repair. We accept shipments via UPS, FEDEX, Airborne and most other carriers. Repaired controllers are returned using the same shipping priority received unless otherwise requested. We recommend that multiple controllers not be packed in the same carton to avoid  damage caused by internal collision.

 

   

 

LIMITED WARRANTY & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

Each product serviced by HSD Engineering Inc., is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.  Parts, product repairs & services are warranted for 90 days from the date of invoice.  This warranty applies only to the service, parts or repair performed and does not cover fuses, batteries, expendables, or any product which in the opinion of HSD, has been altered, misused, neglected or damaged by accident or abnormal operating conditions or handling.  Calibration shall be traceable to NIST, but is not warranted.

HSD's warranty obligation is limited, at HSD's option to refund of the invoice price, free of charge repair, or replacement of a defective product which is returned to the HSD facility during the warranty period.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE BUYER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY, AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  HSD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SUBSEQUENT DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER ARISING FROM BREACH OF WARRANTY OR BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT RELIANCE OR ANY OTHER THEORY.
